Images don't show up-NEWBIE

I am creating a new site and when I test it in DW4, the images show u
fine. But when I forward it to my client for their review, the image
don't show up at all. They are jpg's (the images that are not showin
up), but in the place where they should be, it shows a little box wit
a red x in the middle in the upper left corner of where it should be.

This has also happened in my own site, but just to one image
everything else shows up fine, but no matter what I do to that on
image (I don't think I did anything different with that one than wit
the 20 others that are on there), it won't show up.

Can someone please help?

chances are you have set it up so the page is looking for the images on your
local hard drive which means i'll work fine on your computer but as soon as
you put it on someone else's it doesn't know how to find the pics. So check
your links and see where they're pointing to

You either havent uploaded the imaged to the server or they are linked to
your site absolutely and not relatively meaning that the website will still
be looking for your images on your C drive when its on the remote server.
You need to check that your setting for Dreamweaver linking is relative to
the site root.
