Default Image loading - 02-15-2005 , 09:31 AM

My images show a blank bounding box while loading they delay about 1-2 seconds.
How can I get them to load as soon as the page opens, even if it's fuzzy, and
then takes the 1-2 seconds to clears up it would be better than a blank box.
Any ideas?

Make the image lighter weight. It's the only way to get better loads.
Progressive JPGs are not well supported, so it's not really worth the
effort....

You can also use an object, say a table or layer. and make a very
lightweight image as the background.
