I'm using Mac OSX 10.3.4 and DreamweaverMX Just recently when working with templates, the link paths it generates for images are incorrect. Months ago when everything was working correctly, the templates would show a path that looked like - this would be converted by Dreamweaver to become- in the actual pages. So the "../" would get dropped when the actual page is created this would result in a normal page that would view correctly. The problem: Recently link paths within the template look like - this would be converted by Dreamweaver to become - img src="/images/picture1.gif"> in other words there is no change! The resulting pages will not view correctly either locally or on the remote server. The path it is creating is a "root path" and not a "relative path". It may be all due to the Mac OSX 10.3.4 Is anyone else having the same problem? Sadly, I can't use templates or symbols any more. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. |

I figured there would be a preference setting to make links document relative rather than root relative. But, I can't find where to change the "sticky link method" back to "document relative"? Forever greatful to anyone with the answer. Thanks |
