Image issue, display on web, not from local drive

This problem only occurs on newly added images. I created some new image logos
and added them to my pages via insert image in DW 4.0, if i view in Live View
they appear fine, if I use file management and "Put" them to my hosted website
they work fine. If i open up any browser, IE8, Sarfari, or Firefox using
C:\NexGenCRM\index.html the image does no resolve, yet all the original images
on the site display just fine that are in the same image directory as the newly
added ones. I can insert a new or old image, i get this same issue, yesterday
all these same images displayed fine if I previewed in a browser locally.
I even went back and picked an image that existed last week displaying on a
current page viewing from the C drive, using the insert image, to create: <img
src="/images/dfwmap.jpg" width="202" height="142" alt="Dallas, TX map" />. It
doesn't show up locally. I have my site definition, default images folder set
to C:\NexGenCRM\images\ The links relative to the site root is checked. All
the images reside in this folder. I cleared my browser cache. Not sure this
is even a DW problem, but something is different from today than yesterday...
does anyone know what Grasshopper did?
