Default Image Borders - 08-01-2007 , 05:22 PM

When my page loads in IE, I get small dark blue lines between the images(I'm
talking about the top banner). In FF, it looks seamless, but for some reason in
IE, there are small gaps, almost like a border. I went though and set the
border equal to 0for the images, yet it didn't help at all. The top of the
image on the right(Donations, Contact Us, Newsletter) lines up fine, but the
bottom and the image on the left(Spokane County United Way), has the gaps.
I tried validating my page, since last time I had a problem with gaps and
tables, that was it. It is fully validated.

Any help would be wonderful.

i don't know if it'll help, but it doesn't look like topabnner_05.gif has a border of zero.

I had a border of 0 in my local file and it didn't make a difference. I tried it on the server, and same thing still. Thanks though.

By changing the borders from ' border="0" ' to ' border="" ', it fixed the top gaps, but the bottom gaps are still there.

How would I fix that so I wouldn't get that gap?

It turned out that the gap was from a table I had inside of another table. I
took that out, messed with it for a while and finally got it to work out
better. But now when it loads in IE, there is a large gap to the right on the
What Matters logo.
Once again, it works in FF, but not in IE(Damn you!).

Ugh. I hate this f*cking software.
I finally figured it out, no thanks to dreamweaver. I kept changing a colspan,
and it decided that it didn't like that, and would change it to a different
integer. I finally got it to work. In dreamweaver the top banner extends way
past the rest of my page, even though they are all set to a width of 777. In
browser it works fine. Just now in the design mode, it looks like sh!t. Thank
you Dreamweaver!

Anyone mind passing on information on how to make it look proper in DW, since
once I'm gone, the woman that maintains the site does it all on design?

Edit: Oh cute.. It doesn't let me post with swear words
