Default image borders - 09-12-2006 , 04:47 PM

I know this topic has been covered already but the solution doesn't seem to be
working.

I have made this site for a client:
http://www.ianwhiteimages.com

The site has a black background and when loading all the images have white
borders. In my stylesheet I have placed the code

a img {border:none

could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks

R

Ken

Thanks for this but does it answer my question as I'm not referring directly to the flash content of the site.

I don't see any white borders around images in IE6.Win XP Pro.

Photos look great AND I TOO DO NOT SEE ANY BORDERS at all, not on the opening nor on the small ones.

Well that is excellent!

Just had a call from client saying some people are having trouble accessing
the portfolio pages... I'm assuming this is just a flash issue.

Should I put a link to FlashPlayer download on the front page?

Thanks for all your comments

It's not a case of not having the Flash player installed. It's a symptom of
the revised behaviour of IE since the Active Content changes were
introduced.
See http://www.adobe.com/devnet/activecontent/

If you have DW 8.0.2 the fix/workaround is automatic.

If not, a regular solution posted on this newsgroup is:
