Default IE and the Guillotine bug fix needed - 12-11-2007 , 09:01 AM

I am having trouble on this page -
http://www.eclipsme.com/chooserockledge/Minutes.html

Whenever you point to the horizontal drop down menu, the bottom links in
the mail content get chopped off. I am told this is the guillotine bug.

I am sure I am being dense, but I don't understand how this is applying
to my page, leave alone how to fix it. I have tried adding a clearing in
all sorts of places, but to no avail.

What am I missing? Probably my mind!

Thanks,
Harvey

I am not seeing this bug that you are referring to. Nor do I see anything
marked "mail content". All of your horizontal menus appear fine in both
Firefox and IE 7. Could you be more specific as to which menu you feel is
malfunctioning if this is something I missed. Also please post your version of
IE that you are testing with.

Finally, I did notice that this is from the menu tutorial over at Project
Seven. There support over there is usually fairly good, although they only
have a newsgroup and not a forum like this. But if you don't mind newsgroups,
I would recommend heading over and checking it out:

http://www.projectseven.com/support/index.htm (the link to the newsgroups is
on this page as well as instructions if you need them)

Ah... sometimes you have to give up to get the answer. The clear goes
*after* the part getting cut off, forcing the container to enclose the
float. Got it now, but thanks anyway! ;-0

Thanks. I'm sure you didn't notice my follow up posting - I found the
problem. Oh, "mail content" through me until I realized I mistyped "Main
Content". Dyslexic and old...

Yes, Project 7 is how I found out it was the Guillotine bug. Had nothing
to do with the P7 menu at all.

Thanks,

Harvey

There was no follow-up posting. At least not for Newsgroup users. I see
your initial post, SnakEyez02's response, then your response to SnakEyez.

I see the follow-up post in Outlook Express.

I thought going to Outlook Express was more of a downgrade... ;-)
