Default Ideas for a new version of DreamWeaver - 07-04-2004 , 07:55 PM

I'd like to hear some ideas which would help improve DreamWeaver. Who knows
maybe the guys making a new version of DreamWeaver will read some of these
ideas and use them. My ideas are better designing of Forms, the ability to
color Horizontal Rules without going into the HTML, the ability to put in a
IFrame without going right to html and better Frame adjustments.

Use the link Murray showed you to submit your ideas via the most appropriate
channel. You can then guarantee that MM will at least read it.

To get your ideas considered seriously (taking into account that MM probably
see 1000's of feature requests with every upgrade cycle which are
prioritised and feedback gained from focussed and experienced user groups
before a single line of code is written) it would be helpful to provide as
much detail as possible of the improvements you'd like to see.

"better designing of Forms" says very little about what you have in mind for
such an improvement.

Perhaps break it down into a goal and outline exactly what feature of DW
you're referring to, what you like about it, what you hate about it and the
kind of changes you'd like to see and why.

Think of everyone as being brand new to your suggestion, assume nothing
about anyone else's workflow (they probably don't have the same workflow as
you - even though yours may seem completely obvious to you) and explain your
suggestion clearly and precisely.

Good luck.
