I want to learn PHP...

I want to learn PHP. This is my #1 goal for the year.

But I can't find anyone who teaches it in upstate NY.

Any suggestions for learning how to create a website from scratch with PHP
would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried teaching myself PHP probably ten or twelve times now, I own four or
five different books. The resource that had the most impact by far was
Lynda.com. For $25 you could buy yourself a solid grasp of tech, and expand on
that with some of the online resources mentioned above.
