Default I can't link flash buttons - 12-04-2003 , 11:00 AM

I am having a strange problem here. It seems that Dreamweaver MX won?t link properly flash buttons and flash text with pages I?m making.
I linked the button to a new page and tried to preview it in IE6, but when I click on the button I get the message ?page can not be displayed?. In the address bar it says D:\site\button\next_page instead of D:\site\ next_page if you get what I mean.
What?s wrong?

Try a little test first; make a blank html page called test1.html and another called test2.html
Make sure both pages are saved to your local folder or defined site.

Place the flah button on test1.html and link it to test2.html by browsing to it under the link selection of flash button interface.

Save test1.html
upload to wherever you are testing or if it is local then just browse to test1.html and push button and see if test2.html come up.

It worked fine for me, so test this and then post back if this helps.

This usually happens to me, with this message, because I wasn't careful with the URL.
