Default How to Scrape Web Pages - 07-13-2003 , 02:16 AM

I am trying to learn how to scrape web pages for information so that I can insert into my clients pages. Does anyone know a good place to find information on this?

Thank you!

James

You might want to elaborate:
"scrape" which pages? Yours? Anyones? Static ones? Dynamic ones? Insert
how? Dynamically? In html/DW?

Sorry! I would like to get the current weather conditions from www.noaa.com in my area and display them on my website.

Thank you,

James

Dan:

"Scraping" is a common and contemporary term describing the capture of
information from other websites. I don't have a clue how to do it, but I
don't think it relies on data feeds....

No, but it's a rare expression here. More frequent when discussing means
of birth control.
