Can anyone advise how to make a web page or image automatically resize to suit the browser window using Dreamweaver MX 6.0?

Have a look at

and compare to

Use percentage widths for you tables and/or divs/spans.

The pages you link to contain gigantic images. Not much you can do about
that other than reduce the size of your images.

I believe if you set a table around your image with 100% width 100% height and no borders, your image should resize into the screen. Try it. I think it should work.

Not, that won't work.

Some browsers support percentage width values for the actual images. You
could try that, but resizing bitmapped images is rarely a good thing.
