How to make pictures fade?

I can't write code to save my life and I just realized that the "Transition"
feature I used in previous Flash by right clicking on a object and select
"Transisions" and you could set it to fade in or out and in how many key-frames
etc. doesn't exist in Flash in CS4. I found something called "Motion Presets"
but there was no "Fade" there. How do I do this in CS4? Where is the secret
button????

There is also a commercial solution in a Behavior format named Transparency_DW
at http://www.actionscafe.com. Yoiu can use this script to set the opacity
level of AP Divs (layers) and images. It will also fade the same objects into
or out of view. in user defined steps.
