How do I save Visual adis settings??

Every time I open up a project (.html file or whatever), I have to turn off
"Image maps" manually under the "Visual aids" settings, in order to get rid of
the image map layers.

I have looked in the preferences and cannot find any setting to SAVE the
"Visual aids" settings. I've look so hard for that setting that it start to get
ridiculous now...

Is it really impossible to save the Visual aids settings? Will I have to turn
off Image maps manually EVERY SINGLE TIME I open up a document in Dreamweaver
CS3??? .............OMG! in that case

Why do you turn them off?

Honestly, I use so few image maps, it never bothered me. Are you using them
on every site?

I turn them off so I can see the images properly, AND so I don't accidently
move or alter the image map if I click nearby, which always happens to me.
And yes, in this case, I have image maps on every site, unfortunately.

So, question remains, how do I save the "Visual aids" settings??

bump,... I guess there is no option to save the Visual aids settings in Dreamweaver CS3. I never thought that Adobe could forget such an important feature...

There is no such option. As far as I can remember, you are the first person
I've seen request this since I came on here in about DW2-time. But it's
