One of the first things most people in the NG would tell you is to dump the frames. |
|
For what it's worth, I get the scroll bar. |

"NoviceBoy" <webforumsuser (AT) macromedia (DOT) com> wrote in message news:bhtfis$mld$1 (AT) forums (DOT) macromedia.com... Hi, people! I'm totally new to web design. I've hashed together a site ( www.tonkin-motorcycles.com ) but someone has written to me to say they can't see my nav bar to the bottom as they have a screen of 600x800 whereas I built it on my pc with a size of 1024x768. I assumed a scroll bar would appear automatically, but it didn't. Any ideas on how I should do it (I'm sure it's obvoius - humour me!) will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! One of the first things most people in the NG would tell you is to dump the frames. Yes, dump the frames. Absolutely no reason for them in a design like this. For what it's worth, I get the scroll bar. How is that possible since scrolling is turned off in the frame? -- -- DiMa -------------------- WEB FORUM USERS: Please log on to the Newsgroup for quicker replies to your posts: news://forums.macromedia.com/macromedia.dreamweaver For Answers, check here first: http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?q=+group:macromedia.dreamwea ver http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/technotes.html http://www.projectseven.com/faqbase http://www.dreamweaverFAQ.com http://www.macromedia.com/support/forums/etiquette.htm DiMa Design > From Lines...to Designs http://www.dimadesign.net "gajett" <junk (AT) ALBERTeinsteinscat (DOT) com> wrote in message news:bhtiep$rps$1 (AT) forums (DOT) macromedia.com... Hi Murray, Dear Thought I'd told you...I went camping for 2 weeks inthe Sierra Nevadas!! Plumas Eureka State Park, to be exact. It was a fantastic holiday and the place even had a HUGE private handicapped W/C for Danielle to get her treatment every night. We set the IV bag up on a lantern tripod ![]() It's amazing what you can do in a pinch! Sat around in my hammock, read afew good books, drove to Tahoe, Mount Lassen and a dozen other wonderful places, ate a seafood buffet in Sparks, Nevada (twice!) and watched my mother set fire to her own over-hairsprayed hair during what was *supposed* to be a fire safety lesson on how to "properly" light a match! It was excellent! It wasn'tMontana...but it was still wonderful. ![]() P.S. I DID tell him to dump the frames! Sheesh! ![]() QUOTE: > > Yes, dump the frames.
