How do I create a blob

I am a novice to intermediate web designer and I need to figure out how to add
a blog to one of my site pages. Can anyone give me instructions on how to do
this. Right now I am running a static HTML site created in Dreamweaver 8.

It would be a big job to script one from scratch. I'd suggest checking out
www.Blogger.com or www.WordPress.com.

If you want to include advertising then wordpress.com is out.

You can of course download wordpress from www.wordpress.org and run it with
a hosting provider, such as hostmysite
