Default how do do this using layers...?? - 07-14-2004 , 04:48 PM

this is a sample page i created from tutorial in dreamwevaer mx 04: missing
manual book.
http://www.nvcc.edu/manassas/dwlayout/layout.html

one very important thing the mentions is that dv tags are creatd inline in the
code, doesnt take advacntage of byte-saving external sty;e sheets. also
updayting is very difficult, since each page has its position set indvidually,
and each page must be updated separeelty. this is exactyly the problem im
facing with my own websites, using layers. it adds, with an ex style sheet, u
can edit a few layers and instantl;y update entire site.

i guess what im asking is how do i create an ex style sheet from this page? it
wont allow me..optiuon to export is not available. how do i go about in doing
this? do i use the same layers with the same layer id name in other sites?? i
mean how does this work? thanks

It might pay for you to read the article on the MM site about tableless
layouts in CSS to get a handle on how to do this.

You can use the same ID on all pages of your site. You just cannot have
duplicate IDs on the same page.

Perhaps one of our CSS Tutorials will help you. I would recommend
