Default How di I make layers position to the browser ? (example site included) - 07-09-2003 , 01:33 PM

Hi all,

I am making an imaged based website, inserting FW gif images into Layers in Dreamweaver.

The layers are placed absolutely, so if the browser window is resized then scroll bars imediately appear.

I want the page to resize slightly if the browser window is reduced a little, as I get differing results on different machines.

I can allow for some of the page to be blank canvas (so it isnt all layers), if this helps.

An example of a site that does this is http://www.bang-olufsen.com

Its developed in some scandanavian software.

Anyone got any idea how to do this in DW?

Thanks,

Zack

Muse:

Investigate either the SnapLayers or LayoutDesigner extension.

Looks like ordinary HTML and js to me! 8)
