Default how to automaticly open a window - 11-11-2004 , 05:41 AM

Hi all,

I have a index page that just has the word 'enter' on it. If they click on
'enter' a window pop's up and they are in my site.

I would like the window to open automaticly. So they don't have to click on
'enter' any more. How do i do this?

Would appreciate your help, greeting, Henk Prins

Put this in the <head> section of the index page:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=http://www.page you want to
open">

change the 0; to the number of seconds delay you require

cheers,
nolly

Select the <body> tag and apply the behavior "Open browser window" and
make it "onLoad".
However, most (?) browsers have pop-up blockers, and they're designed to
stop automatic pop-ups like that. But they'll usually allow pop-ups
triggered by the user himself.

Get rid of the splash page, and go right to the site.
