How to add movie clip?

Hello!
I'm working on a homepage and I was wondering how to add a movieclip to my
webpage. Not a download movie but one you can watch on the homepage. Either in
AVI, mpeg4 or quicktime format.

If there is anyway to do that in dreamweaver or if anyone have a script that
could help me out I would be very pleased.

Simplest way: Upload your movie to www.YouTube.com. They will convert it to
Flash and carry the bandwidth for you. Then, copy the embed code from
YouTube and paste it (in code view) into your DW page.

Advanced way: Use a converter to output your AVI file to Flash Video. Then
in DW hit Insert > Media > Flash Video > Progressive Download > point to the
FLV on your local system and choose a player. Upload page, flv media,
scripts, swf to server.
