Default Hotspot in the "DIV" layer. - 07-02-2008 , 11:54 AM

Hi guys ,
I got a question releated to creating a hotspot ( for a pop-up window ) . I've
created one layer with a .jpg image in it.On this layer I placed another one
with text only ( a kind of the navigation bar ) - the thing is : how to create
a hotspot on the words in this second layer ? Do hotspots are only allowed to
be created on the image ? Thanks.

Hot spots are linked areas on an image map. So yes. You need an image to
make an image map.

Why get involved with image mapping?
Why not just place your JPG as a background in a single DIV, and then type
your text in the DIV with normal link where desired?

Thanks Ken - obviously this is the means as you suggest. This is what I'm
looking for .I generally try to find a way of placing a link on a text that is
on an embedded image or placing a link on a text in spry widgets ( in most
cases I get info the bar is missing some tags / broken or when placing a link
the text turns into a white box out of the payout ) - you suggest putting an
image into DIV and then a text onto it followed by targeting a link to it - so
I'll try it out - Thanks.Regards.
