Default homesite in dreamweaver? - 07-10-2003 , 09:28 AM

I have just read that homesite comes with dreamweaver MX but i cannot find it. Am i correct to assume that homsite is a HTML tag editor?

I'm a newcomer so any help would be great

Thank you

Oh, yes, it does come with it, but it doesn't come up on the install
screens. You have to open the CD and browse through the folders on your
own. HomeSite is there and it's a tag editor. I've used it for 6 years,
could not live w/o it for editing HTML, Perl, ASP and heck I wrote a NOVEL
in HomeSite It's a great thing.

Thanks wendy, i'll look into that.

while i'm here, i'll ask you another question. You mention ASP, now i know it stands for active server pages but I have no idea how to use ASP. Many job adverts ask for ASP skills - is it difficult to learn, is it a software package? Coldfusion also seems very scary and I don't know how to use that either.

The reason i'm asking is that I recently embarked upon a CIW webmaster course and I am finding the whole thing a little daunting.

Any advice would be most welcome

Thank you.
