Default Hidding ie header and footer when printing - 07-12-2004 , 02:51 PM

My user would like me to remove the ie information printed at the top and
bottom of each page (hard copy printing)

I Know there is an option I can set at the register of a pc to do this but
that is not an option I can use.

Any help would be great!

Unfortunately it's a browser setting, and something that cannot be
controlled with conventional methods. You would have to use some form of PDF
generation or other method of this scale to do this. Don't know if that's in
your budget though!

Hope this helps,

Piers

Are you asking about doing it in the browser when you print a page, or
doing it in the code so it works for all users? If all users, you're out
of luck. It's a browser setting that you have no control over. If you
want to do it in the browser when you print a page, click File->Page
Setup. You can set the margins, header, and footer there.
