Default Help!! Window Resizing Issue - 07-19-2004 , 06:33 PM

I used dreamweaver (CSS - 2 Column Left) template to make a page. I'm
currently using 1208 X 1024 screen resolution. I tried viewing the page on my
coworker's computer with a setting set at (800x 600), the layers are all out of
place? Is there a fix to this? I researched the web, but there are many
different solutions that are quite complicated to work this out. Perhaps
someone on this website may know of a universal solution to this or something
that's a bit standard in dealing with the resolution size issue. Your help is
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try the P7 Snap layers behaviour from the MM site

Resolution is NOT the same as window size. My resolution is set at 1024*756
but I view pages at less that 800 wide

Have a look here for more of an explanation
http://www.thepattysite.com/window_sizes1.cfm

then take a look at the last url in my sig - how to build a fluid layout so
that it will fit into any window viewport. (Tables based though). If you
are using layers (Divs)
that is a whole different kettle of fish.
