Help with Templates

I've been using this program since I was 11, now I'm 14! I never used
templates before, and I seem to like them more than using Frames(I've always
used frames).

M'kay, here's the problem,

When I create a template, I created editable regions(2, one for my links and
the other for my main text and the what-not). After that, once it was saved, I
tried to create new from template...but it won't let me put stuff in the
editable regions.

Any help would be awesome
