Default Help with site - 06-05-2004 , 10:25 PM






Ok heres the deal,

I have been out of the web design area for quite some time, ie the las
page i did was frames in html. I know things have come a long way sinc
then. Anyway heres the deal.

Recently my mate asked me to do a web page for him, here are hi
requirements.

Needs to be easily updated by him
Need to be "up to date" and support multiple screen resolutions
Loads fairly fast (but not a main priority)
includes feedback forms and polls
and needs to be up failrly soon.

I have a copy of dreamweaver and was wondering what is the best way t
set up this site, ie, dynamic etc etc. and are there any good tutoria
sites to get me updated fairly quickly as time is against me.

Depending on your budget and operating system, look at the suite of tools
from Xigla.com, polls, cms (for your client to update the site), forms - all
automated.

Design the site in DW and then use the xigla tools for all the content
management and interactivity.
