Default Help: DRW MX, html Property inspector changes to 'Editable Region 1' - 07-19-2003 , 04:13 PM

Sat 19 July 2003

I have a problem which appeared all of a sudden on all my Dreamweaver
files, when previously it worked all right.

I want to apply Bulleted List to a number of paragraphs in a file that
is based on a template.

When I select only one para., the property inspector shows all the
normal options: font, colour, range left/centre/right, etc; bulleted
list, etc.

When I select more than one para., the property inspector changes and
shows only the expression 'Editable region 1' in its window.

This is unexpected, because previously in files of a similar type I
could always select several paragraphs and then set font, bulleted
list, etc, in the Property Inspector.

-------------

Background: The file in question is based on a template which sets
only the general page properties. It contains only one editable
region (Editable Region 1).

1 Why does this happen?
2 How can I stop it from happening?
3 What is the unwanted (changed) property inspector offering to
do with its Editable Regions window? (Where in the help file is that
topic covered? Or where is it covered in the book: 'Dreamweaver MX.
The missing manual', which I have, but cannot find the explanation
in.)

Thanks for your help.

Adrian
