Default Help with CSS - 06-01-2006 , 09:59 AM

Can anyone please help me???

I have a website which views perfectly in Explorer but will not render the
same in Netscape Navigator or Firefox. I am using <div> tags in my code and
setting the background-position to center in my CSS. It shows my background
image as centre in my body section of my CSS but the <div> tags in the style
sheet are set exactly the same but it left aligns the content in those two
browsers. I have tried everything I can think of to try and get my body conent
to centralize but nothing seems to work.

Please can anyone help me?

Such findings ALMOST always mean you have used IE proprietary methods in
creating the page. Validate it first and fix the errors found. Then we can
worry about troubleshooting the layout -

As a tip: It makes more sense to preview/design your webpage for more
standard compliant browser, like Firefox, and then worry about other
browsers. IE (apart from 7.0) tends to be NOT compliant...
