Default Help Creating a Nav Bar - 03-09-2005 , 03:01 PM

I'd like to create a nav bar like the one at this site:
http://www.ajohnson.com/ but I can't figure out how they did it.

I saved off several of the pages and opened them in DW hoping to walk back the
cat and figure out how they were done. I can't. I do know they are not done
by the usual swap image behavior I use. The answer is probably right in front
of my face, but I'm obviously not seeing it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Just a guess, but rollovers in photoshop would be one way to do it.

why not standard DW rollovers.(as Murray mentioned a couple of times through
this thread). Create your images in PS or FWs and then add the rollover
image behaviour via DW... pretty easy - just read the DW help docs F1.

Nadia --

That's what I'm going to do. I think I made more out of this than need be.
It's just that I saw things in the page that didn't make sense to me, and I
thought I might learn a new technique to creating the nav bar. In the end,
though, why recreate the wheel.

BTW...what are your thoughts on creating the nav bar using a list and CSS as
outlined here:

Just curious.
