Default having links be different colors - 07-31-2004 , 06:22 PM

Hi,
I am styling my links with CSS in Dreamweaver MX 2004. I styled the main
links under "page properties".
But I want the links at the bottom of the page to be a different color than
the page properties links I set so they show up better against a dark
background. I tried making a class, but it only changed the font not the color
of the bottom links.
I'm new to CSS. please help. thanks,

Pseudo-classes and container styles are what you need - here are some
tutorials.

You can do some research for creating different classes for the type of links
you want to use. Some examples are like

.regularLinks {color:green}

.darkBackground {color: red}

Some of the other type of links you can style are "link", "visited", "hover"
and "active". A basic page you might want to review is
