Is it possible to have both the H1 and H2 on the same line? I want to combine them as a single heading because they compliment eachother and give the page an interesting look. Does someone know how to do this? |

It's possible, but you should not put them next to each other "because they give the page an interesting look". These elements are not meaningless, you are not supposed to use them to get a visual effect. |

.oO(Thierry | www.TJKDesign.com) It's possible, but you should not put them next to each other "because they give the page an interesting look". These elements are not meaningless, you are not supposed to use them to get a visual effect. If it makes sense and is still usable - why not? Not all visual effects are bad. |

I agree with that. But IMO the OP was not using Headings for what they mean, but for how they look. The fact that he found the SPAN solution a good one proves that he was after some visual effect rather than proper semantic ![]() |
