Guidance

I'm looking for the easiest way to do the following, and could really use some
direction. My client has multiple categories of products. Each category has
multiple products in it. I want to create a table with 3 rows. The top and
bottom are simple header and footer. The middle row will be split into 2
columns. I want to list each individual product on the left, and have it show
up on the right with a picture and descriptive information. Is this possible to
do this, or do I have to use frames? I do have individual pages for each
product that can be called on. Appreciate your help! Thanks.
