Hiya, i am quite new to html and i have noticed the cool fading effect on your macromedia website background i was wondering how you have accomplished this!Did you use css?If you could help me out that would be great as i wish to use a similar sort of affect for a page on our intranet.

Have a look at the source code.

It's a quite simple image:
http://www.macromedia.com/images/master/background.jpg

The background is defined in:
http://www.macromedia.com/css/themes.css
