Default Exceeded number of activation problems - 07-11-2008 , 02:46 PM

Hi all,

Got a problem with me CS3. I'm trying to install it on my new laptop but i'm
receiving an error message to the effct of the above. It's installed on my
desktop and old laptop. The problem is the hard drive on my old laptop is
dead and i cannot get into Windows to deactivate the installation for both
DW and PS.

I'm currently in a working in a far away land and really don't want to call
Adobe Support as it will be very expensive. Are there any other options
available to me?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Abi

Calling Adobe support is your only option. They can reset your activation.
No one here can reset your activations.

I don't think anyone in this USER TO USER support forum is going to be able to
help with a problem that requires an Adobe employee to go into the registration
system and change settings

If you can't find a web link to send an email directly to Adobe (I don't have
such a link) you are simply going to have to call

Thanks guys. I wasn't expecting anyone here to help me reset. Confirming
Adobe is my only option helps with clarity. Just wanted to make sure i
wasn't missing anything else that i could try before making the expensive
call.

Thank you.

If the laptop won't boot up, is there someone you can call to have it
uninstalled from the desktop machine?

then when you return from wherever, you could deal with the support phone
call and reinstall it?
