Zen of CSS is probably not the best way to learn CSS, but I loved it. It
just opened up my imagination. I'm learning more practical ways to do CSS
from other sources, but Zen has also given me some ideas that I'm using.

Thanks guys, didn't mean to start any arguments though...

they are all great suggestions and very helpful in my quest.

there are 2 books i've come across in the meantime and would like opinions
from those who have used them

one is the famous "zen" one and the other is "Stylin' with CSS : A
Designer's
Guide by Charles Wyke-Smith" -

*remembering that i am a designer, so need a bit of spoon feeding!

i'm not in the US i'm afraid irvin but should be able to find something like
Barnes and Noble this weekend as a shopping expedition has been planned!

that is what i was expecting from the reviews of the zen book Flo, i think it
might keep me more engaged if there are some elements of designing in the
book.. have a bit of a short attention span when it comes to coding, so every
little helps!

I have to say, over the past couple of days i have found -
http://www.westciv.com/ absolutley brilliant! it is in language i can
understand and is giving me information i seem to be retaining! amazing!

anyway, cheers for all the help and have a good weekend!
