Default getting CSS to work in site - 09-21-2006 , 07:00 AM

Hi, have built some pages using CSS. All is well locally, site looks great and
the style sheets make life so simple. Only one problem though: when I uploaded
a trial page CSS isn't working (type is returning to its default).

I've built the page using a template, will this make a difference?

You can see an example http://www.bijoubabe.co.uk/texttemplate.htm

Let me know if you think you know how to solve this problem.

Many thanks

When I browse here (with IE6) -

http://www.bijoubabe.co.uk/bijou.css

(which is where you say your stylesheet is located)

I get this -

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /bijou.css on this server.

--------------------

which is a bit strange to me. What's up with that?

Well, I haven't a clue. However, I then decided to put the CSS into the assets folder, and now they work.

So, a big thank you for responding, because you really helped me out.

:grin;

That would really make no difference. CSS files can be anywhere in your
site....
