Disagree Irvin,

One of the most interesting examples of how IE, Moz and Opera handle
margin and padding. If I was teaching html I would bookmark these pages

lol. This has been very interesting. I'm going to remember this thread for a while. But I still want to know what is the best method to use for controlling the ul indentation? Roy's way, or the PVII man's way?

Both work, so take your pick. The only real difference is if you add a
border or background to the <ul>. Copy the code from my example and add the
following style:

ul {border: 1px solid black;}
