FTP and Remote Ports in Dreamweaver

I am new to Dreamweaver MX 2004. Currently, I am trying to set things up to
be able to FTP into a remote server. I have set up the site as instructed. I
can connect without problems in CuteFTP as well as using Macromedia FTP &
RDS in Homesite 5.5. It will not, however, work in Dreamweaver. I suspect
the problem is that the server requires the use of a Remote Port. In both
Homesite 5.5 and CuteFTP, there is a place to enter a Remote Port that is
specific to each site. I cannot find such a place in Dreamweaver. The only
place I can find that even refers to a port setting relates to the Firewall.
When I change that it changes it for all ftp sites in Dreamweaver. (BTW, I
have other ftp sites set up in Dreamweaver that work fine.) I would
appreciate any help in discovering what I am missing.

I am using Windows XP Service Pack 2, if that makes any difference. I am
behind a firewall on this particular computer, but that is not presenting a
problem ftping into other sites with Dreamweaver. The problem is specific to
the current site I am trying to set up. Thanks again!

What firewall do you Use?? I have NIS 2005 that is blocking FTP from dreamweaver. when i shut down this firewall dreamweaver seems to work OK

Yep. Lotsa coincidental association of Norton with such problems here.
