I am having great difficulty with MX ftp. I get the error above.
This used to work. I can successfully FTP with WS-FTP as well as from a command prompt.
My OS is Windows XP Pro, Grisoft AVG Anti-Virus, no firewall settings. These have not changed since it was working. Actually, it has been quite awhile since it worked. I don't get much time to develop websites, so when it first happened I just worked around it. I would like to get this working correctly, though.
The FTP log is dormant/empty/incommunicado. Nothing appears there whatever I do. I cannot enter FTP commands either. I have tried setting up a new site, I am my own ISP so I have the permissions correct (it did work and does from other programs). |
