FTP Error - The new file or folder cannot be created because the path name

Hi,

I am using OS 10.3.2 and have defined a site to my remote service provider. I am able to use the site to work with most of my files except those with long file names. I know I can FTP these file names to and from my computer and my service provider using a 3rd party FTP client but when I use Dreamweaver MX I get the following error:

An FTP error occurred - cannot get db_movie_details_mediaitemid_query.inc. The new file or folder cannot be created because the path name is too long.

I have included the actual error with the filename so you can count how many characters are causing the problem. I have a Windows XP machine running Dreamweaver UltraDev and am able to Get and Put all my files regardless of path name length.

Is there a configuration within Dreamweaver that I can set to increase the path name length or is this a compatibility issue with OS 10.3.2? I do not believe this is a restriction on the OS's part since I am able to FTP the long file names using 3rd party FTP clients.

Please advise.
