Default FTP access problems - 03-26-2009 , 09:04 AM

I've been asked to amend an existing website (not designed or engineered by
myself), by adding a new 'download' button. The website is
http://www.united-springs.co.uk/index.php

I've managed to update the nav bar library file and add a download button, and
I've managed to update and upload the home page as you can see. But when I try
an upload any of the other pages (such as about us, materials etc), I keep
getting the following error message...

Started: 26/03/2009 12:59

aboutus.php - error occurred - An FTP error occurred - cannot put aboutus.php.
Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission
problem. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server
is properly configured.

File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.

Files with errors: 1
aboutus.php

Finished: 26/03/2009 12:59

Can anyone help? I just can't figure out where I'm going wrong.

I am having the same problem with sites I build and previously were able to
upload using the built in FTP protocols in Dreamweaver 8.

I have been trouble shooting for four days now, with no luck. Of course, I am
not an expert, but there seems to be a change somewhere that Dreamweaver may
not be able to manage.
