free templates

does anyone know where i can get some free, but good web page templates?

If you have Photoshop all you have to do is search google for free photoshop templates and you get a good list of about 100 or so sites. If you don't have photoshop just search google and see what you can get because most of the decent ones will require you edit the pictures with Photoshop (usually v6 or higher).

Those are not exactly templates. In fact, they aren't templates at all.
They are 700x582 images.

But they are free.

Strange isn't it, how the majority of these "free template" sites always
link to templatemonster or one of those other "monster" sites - in one way
or another.

I think I have visited about 3-4 in the last few days -most of the freebies
are just graphics as you point out Murray - *but* it also looks like
templatemonster.com has disappeared

I don't think it's only images. Just click the downoad button, and the zip file will comes out.
I think not only they provide the HTML to be edited but also photoshop or fireworks.

Yep, most of them are linked to template monster. I think they're trying to make money by affiliating to the site. And I've figured out that template monster no longer in business.

I did that. It's an HTML page with one big image in the middle. You get
the page and the image. Hardly a template.
