Default Framesets - 07-30-2004 , 05:26 AM

please help!

I've been using Dreamweaver a while, but haven't really had to do much hand
coding as such. However I have a problem, is it possible to set the
height/width measurement of a frameset, not the frames but the Frameset itself.
I have tried to do it the way I thought it would work however - all that
happens is any frames that were there are lost. I need the Frameset to be a
precise measurement as its going to be "targeted" and appear in another
independent frame in the website build-up.

thanks.

It is possible to open a frameset in a fixed-width (no resize) window. I
believe this is what you are seeking.

But be aware that this is a troublesome method for a number of reasons, not
the least of which are those associated with the choice of frames
themselves....
