This must be a configuration issue. I have a frameset which is made up of three frames. One of the individual frames is itself a frameset made up of two frames. The frames pass parameters one to another. In Cold Fusion Studio 5 the code shows up fine. Each frameset appears perfectly, and the pages do their job in production with no problems whatsoever. In Dreamweaver MX, on the other hand, when I ask the top frameset (the three-parter) to display in code, what actually shows up is the two parter, which of course is a completely different page! When I ask the two parter to display in code, it shows up also. In both cases the code is corrupted, so of course I can't do anything with it, as Studio 5 shows that the code is fine. What have I mis-set in Dreamweaver? (P.S.: "Don't use frames" is not an answer. If that is your response, please don't bother to reply.) |

Don't use framesets... with DW. I have my framesets opened in NotePad. Thierry LarryDe wrote: This must be a configuration issue. I have a frameset which is made up of three frames. Thank you Thierry. At least telling me DW can't be trusted to handle frames is something to go on. The other so-called responees were just using |
