The Adobe Online Forums will be closed from 3pm (Pacific Time) on Friday April 3 through the weekend. We will re-open new forums on April 6. Thank you for your patience during this forum outage.

Is this the switch to the new forum format that will no longer support NNTP?

Looks like lights out for this forum. I'll be a little sad to see it go.

We'll see lights going on again when Adobe realizes that their decision
was just plain stupid and unreasonable. And if not, I'll have some more
spare time from now on. ;-)

Good luck to all the people seeking for help here. Might become a bit
harder for them now. But we'll see how it turns out.

Micha

PS: Almost 3(!) days for a forum switch speaks for itself. In Usenet
such an outage would be completely impossible due to its decentralized
and redundant structure.

Yes.

And what is going to be required to use the new forum? What is the address?

Harvey

http://forums.adobe.com/

You'll need an Adobe ID, that's all.

Thanks David. I think I have one from the last go around. I will just
need to remember it. What a PITA!

I guess they have already taken the forums down (???) the page "can not
be displayed" in IE, or "network timeout" in FF.

Good start!
Harvey

I wonder if they will leave the NNTP server running, but just not synch
it with the forum?

I too can't access the web forum using the link above.
