Default forum problems? - 01-05-2006 , 08:26 AM

Now this really is a silly post as I can't see any replies but is there a
problem with the forum. Yesterday I posted a message which I am unable to
see. Today I posted another and again it's not visible. If I check the
message times (using outlook express)

no messages were received between 11.31 and 13:01 today or 05:32 and 09:25
which is dare I say imposible?

Other forums I'm subscribed too see to be ok

cheers

Ian

Greetings, must be a problem with my Outlook express,

Gives me something to do after lunch.

As to the site I've scrapped it and re done it but as I suspected I've hit
my usual problem. Hence I posted a question.

Looks great on the design screen but in IE everything moves and in Firefox
it moves even more!

However the failure of oexpress is a priority perhaps I'll try a different
news reader

cheers

It gets even worse. Just downloaded Agent to prove my problem was with
outlook express and found Agent shows the same problems, missing my
message and time gaps where the forum was not used

This sounds like you are just not grabbing enough headers. I have my OE set
to get all of them (i.e., there is no value in the Get ____ headers at a
time part of the General options.

Hi Murray

My Outlook express it set to get 1000 as this is the maximum I can select,
zero is not a viable option.

IT really is wierd. Can you still access the newsgroup via the macromedia
web site?

cheers
