Formulate Ideas

Hello All,

I?m developing PHP MySQL applications, which are heavily reliant on forms. I
would appreciate it if someone (all) could recommend tutorials, extensions,
sites, books etc in relation to form development. I am not a programmer I am a
designer who is doing the programming (boooo) I know I know. But any help would
be appreciated.

There is on particular form trick I wish to do if anyone has a link to show mw
how to do it i would be a happy man ... I need to select an item from one drop
down menu (populated by a MySQL DB) and use its value to filter the population
of another drop down menu.
E.g. First menu has Fruit, Veg and Sweets in it the second has nothing, if I
choose fruits the second menu fills with only fruits, filtered from the food DB
by the fact it is a fruit

Any one?? Please.
