forms help, will pay!!!

I've been really stumped lately. I'm trying to put a configuration form that
draws from other tables. Example: I built a table we'll call
"configurator". "Configurator" has X amount of options. Option 1 draws
information from the table "configurator option 1." "Configurator option
1" has 2 fields, item and price. A,B and C are the lablels and price is set
as $1, $2 and $3. I set all the fields in "configurator" as int/fp and
added another field we'll call "total". I set the rest of the fields in
dreamweaver to menu and assigned each field the respective table (option 1
draws from "configurator option 1" and option 2 draws from "configurator
option 2", etc) I need to add (possibly ther simple math calcualtions) all
the options and assign the sum to the" total" field. I've hit a dead end and
don't know how to do this. I've set up all the tables and the configurator
already. I'm prefferably looking for a server behavior to let me do this.
It's to the point that I'm despearate and willing to pay someone to write
the php code(if there's no such behavior) and show me how to impliment in my
