FormMail on OS X

New to Dreamweaver, so please excuse me if I'm being stupid.

I am trying to set up a form and test it on my local server. I am on OS X 10.5
and I have started sendmail and modified the FormMail program appropriately (at
least I think I have!). I am using the NMS version of formmail.

I have made the program executable and put the site to my test server.
However, when I click the submit button the suorce code is displayed in my
browser, rather than an e-mail message being sent!

Any ideas? :confused;
