Form nightmare

I have built a form page with a submit and reset button. The reset button was
easy. However, I want the submit button, when clicked to go to a page that
says "Thank you for your request, it has been received" yet still email me a
copy of the form. I have the first part working, "Thank you for your request,
it has been received") but cannot receive a confirmation email. What am I
doing wrong?
